My Story

Faith, family, and community are at the heart of who I am. I’ve called Collin County home since 2006, living in Josephine with my husband, George, and our labrador, Sissy. My son, Paul, lives in Sachse with his wife, while my daughters, Linda (Quinlan) and Andrea (Syracuse, NY), along with my grandchildren, Bella and Alex, keep our family close-knit. I’m the oldest of six, which taught me the value of togetherness, compromise, and frugality—skills I bring to the council.

As a Doctor of Pharmacy (University of Rhode Island) and Bachelor of Science graduate (University of Connecticut), I built a diverse career as a pharmacist across multiple states, hospitals, and even four years in Asia with a major manufacturer. I’ve mentored students and employees, volunteered as a pharmacist after Hurricane Harvey, and helped feed 2,500 people post-Hurricane Helene with Texans on Mission. Recently, I transitioned to medical writing, inspired by caring for my father in hospice, and I’m authoring a book, The Power of Medicine in the Bible.

In Josephine, I serve as a Volunteer Deputy Registrar for Collin and Hunt Counties, an elected Precinct Chair, and a volunteer at the City on the Hill food pantry in Farmersville. I’m active with Texans on Mission Disaster Relief, election integrity teams, and True Texas Patriots, and I’m a member of the American Medical Writers Association, Texas Pharmacy Association, and Dallas Area Pharmacy Association. In my free time, I enjoy reading, fishing, golfing, biking, and walking.

As Steve Jobs said, “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.” I love serving Josephine, and I’m committed to making our town the best it can be.
